It was beautiful outside...the temperature was PERFECT! The foliage is starting....

This is Otter Lake. I sometimes stop here and take a breather, stretch...and take in the beautiful view.

Custom DEADutante Wedding

I finished a fun request I received for a wedding that will take place this November 1st...which also happens to fall on Dia De Los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead.

The colors were black and yellow with just a touch of the Day of the Dead theme, so I included the sugar skull masks for the ladies to hold.

I tried to match the bride's dress as closely as I could...

There was a junior bridesmaid, and her dress was a little different from the other bridesmaid dresses....

There was also a pit bull named Millie in the wedding party.

This was my first DEADutante animal....

All in all, I had LOTS of fun creating this wedding party, and it's truly a joy to know that my creation will be a part of their big day. :)

It took some clever maneuvering with clear fish line to place that teddy bear just where I wanted him, but I think I nailed it.

No Sprinkles!?

On my bike ride, I often take a trail that brings me by a campground. At this campground there is a general store and I sometimes buy an extra Gatorade there. Anyway, they also serve ice cream, and I noticed this addition to the menu, via a piece of paper stuck to the window with tape...
And I started thinking...."I didn't want any.....UNTIL YOU BROUGHT IT UP!"

So, a couple of days later I was taking a break under some trees and a couple walked over from a house on the campground property (I assumed they were the owners/managers) and the woman asked the man "Can I get you anything? A bowl of ice cream or something?"

and he grumbled "I want sprinkles." He started walking away towards a different destination and she kept walking over to the store.

She then yelled over to him "We don't have any. AND I'M NOT GETTING ANYMORE."

Sprinkles be causing some problems...
